  • Article 1. Violation of A Vehicles Roadworthy Certification

    1. The act of wilfully and intentionally driving an unroadworthy vehicle upon a public roadway.

    A vehicle must be equipped with the following to be declared roadworthy:

    1. At least two (2) functional headlights.

    2. At least two (2) functional brake lights.

    3. Functional reverse lights.

    4. Functional hazard lights.

    5. Functional front and rear demisters.

    6. Front, rear, and side windows.

    7. Functional horn.

    8. No fuel or oil leaks.

    9. Seatbelts.

    10. Mirrors.

    11. Pedals.

    12. Windshield wipers.

    13. Dash lights.

    14. Working suspension.

    A vehicle may not possess the following:

    1. Headlights of any color other than white or xenon.

    2. Underglow of any color.

    3. Body kits that emit any colors from the vehicle.

    4. Flashing lights of any kind unless the driver possesses a traffic control certification.

    5. Window tint with less than 70% visible light transmission.

    6. Nitrous Oxide.

    This offense is considered an infraction and is punishable by up to $600 and impoundment.
