    Harassment: The act or instance of tormenting, vexing, or intimidating based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or genetic information of another person. Engaging in a course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause a reasonable person to fear for his or her safety or the safety of others or suffer substantial emotional distress. Any use of physical, psychological, or emotional force that causes bodily, emotional, or mental harm or puts the victim in fear of harm.


    The offense of Harassment is considered a misdemeanor and is punishable by up to $5,000 or 30 months imprisonment.
