    Arson: The act of willingly and intentionally starting a fire to harm people, or property within a structure.

    Vehicle Arson: The act of willingly and intentionally starting a vehicle fire to harm people, property within the vehicle, the offender shall also be charged with Grand Theft.

    Destruction of Evidence: The act of destruction of evidence from any state, local, or federal law enforcement department in connection with a current crime, in which the evidence has not been secured and released to an individual.

    Unauthorized Property Arson: The act of willingly starting a fire to burn or damage property not owned by the offender without permission.


    The offense of Arson is considered a felony and is punishable by up to $5,000 and 60 months imprisonment.
