    Trespassing: The act of unlawfully entering upon or into someone's property that is closed to the public by means of a lock, fence, or signs prohibiting entry.

    Injury During Trespassing: Committing unlawful injury to a person who is residing on private property not open to the public by fences, signs, or locks will also be charged with Aggravated Assault, Battery, and Criminal Mischief.

    Government Property Trespassing: The act of unlawfully entering into a closed-off area of government property secured by either a lock, sign, or fence.

    Secured Facility Trespassing: The act of unlawfully entering a secured facility that is entirely closed off to the public via a lock, sign, or fence.


    The offense of Trespassing is considered a misdemeanor and is punishable by up to $5,000 and 60 months imprisonment.
