    Grand Theft: The act of taking money or property valued at over $5,000, where the person has no intention to purchase it.

    Motorized Mobility Vehicle Theft: The act of taking a motorized mobility vehicle, including scooters, mobility equipment, motor vehicles, etc., where the person has no intention to purchase it.

    Assisting in Grand Theft: The offense of assisting the principal offender in aiding, hindering, or otherwise withholding information from law enforcement, or planning before or after the offense is committed.

    Vehicle Theft by Force: The act of attacking a driver of a vehicle in order to take the vehicle or rob the driver or any of its passengers.


    The offense of Grand Theft is considered a felony and is punishable by up to $5,000 and 60 months imprisonment.
