    • Definition of First Degree Murder
      The intentional killing of another person by someone who has acted willfully, deliberately, and planned the harming of another person, resulting in the deceased being identified at trial or sentencing.

    • Assistance and Aiding in First Degree Murder
      A person is considered in violation of C1(A): First Degree Murder if they intentionally assist, aid, or support the principal offender(s) through:

      • Disposal of the victim’s body,

      • Crime scene tampering,

      • Withholding information from law enforcement,

      • Planning before or after the offense is committed.

    • Penalties
      The offense of C1(A): First Degree Murder is considered a felony, punishable by up to 120 months imprisonment and a minimal fine of up to $52,550.
