    1. No Duty to Retreat – When a resident is faced with the threat of violence, injury, or loss or damage to their property while on their own property or within their legal residence, the resident has no duty to retreat.

    2. Use of Force Against Intruders – The resident may use force against any individual who attempts to break into their home, steal or damage their property, or who chronically trespasses on their property.

    3. Right to Protect Against Trespassers – This right to use force extends to situations involving individuals who have unlawfully entered or remained on the property, with the intent to commit a crime, or in situations where trespassing has become a persistent issue.
